🟣 1. Introduction / Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the GloballyStays website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and any other policies referenced herein (including our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy). If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our website or services. These Terms apply to guests, property owners, hosts, and other users.

🟣 3. Our Services

We provide a platform and/or management services that enable Guests to search for, book and stay in listed properties, and enable Owners to list and manage properties. Specific services (e.g., listing-only, full management, rent-to-rent) are governed by separate service agreements between the Owner and GloballyStays where applicable.

🟣 4. Account Registration & Eligibility

Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account and enter into agreements.

You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information during registration and to update it when necessary.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

🟣 5. Booking Process, Payments & Fees

All Bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. Payment terms (deposit, balance due date) are shown at booking checkout.

Payment methods accepted will be displayed on the Platform (e.g., Stripe, PayPal). Payment processors may require additional verification.

Service fees, cleaning fees, taxes and other charges applicable to the booking will be disclosed prior to payment. Guests agree to pay all applicable charges.

Owners and Hosts agree to the fee schedule set out in their service agreement. GloballyStays  reserves the right to update platform fees with notice.

🟣 6. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation and refund rules for Guests depend on the specific property’s cancellation policy (displayed on the listing) and any applicable consumer rights.

Owners must ensure cancellation policies displayed are accurate. If discrepancies arise, the Platform may intervene to resolve disputes fairly.

Refunds (if applicable) are processed through the original payment method and are subject to payment processor timelines.

🟣 7. Guest & Host Obligations

Guests agree to:

Comply with house rules, check-in/out times and local laws.

Respect the property and neighbors.

Pay for any damages or extra cleaning caused by negligence or breach of house rules.

Owners/Hosts agree to:

Provide accurate property information, availability and pricing.

Maintain the property in a safe, habitable condition.

Comply with local laws, licensing and tax obligations.

🟣 8. Property Listings & Accuracy

Owners are responsible for accuracy of listings including descriptions, photos, amenities and pricing. The Platform may remove or suspend listings that violate rules or are misleading.

🟣 9. Liability & Disclaimers

GloballyStays provides the Platform and related services on an “as is” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GloballyStays disclaims all warranties (express or implied) related to listings, availability, or suitability.

GloballyStays is not the owner of listed properties (unless under a specific rent-to-rent or management agreement). Liability for property condition, personal injury or loss rests primarily with the Owner or Host.

To the extent permitted by law, GloballyStays’ aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Platform shall not exceed amounts actually paid or payable to GloballyStays in connection with the relevant booking during the 12 months preceding the claim.

🟣 10. Insurance & Damage Protection

Guests and Owners should verify applicable insurance cover. Owners should maintain appropriate property and liability insurance.

Where damage protection or security deposit mechanisms are provided by the Platform, their terms are set out on the relevant listing and in the host agreement.

🟣 12. Privacy & Data Protection

Use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform you consent to processing of personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

🟣 13. Prohibited Conduct

Users must not:

Use the Platform for unlawful purposes;

Misrepresent identity or listing details;

Harass, discriminate or infringe third-party rights;

Circumvent platform fees or booking channels.

Violation may lead to account suspension, removal of listings, or legal action.

🟣 14. Termination & Suspension

GloballyStays may suspend or terminate accounts, listings or access where there is suspected fraud, illegal activity, serious policy breaches, or upon legal requirement. Termination does not relieve users from payment obligations or liability for past breaches.

🟣 15. Dispute Resolution

Where possible, parties should attempt to resolve disputes informally via Platform support.

For unresolved disputes, the parties may pursue mediation or legal action. Referral to specific dispute resolution bodies depends on local laws.

🟣 16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

Governing law: United Kingdom.
Disputes will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, and parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts — except where local mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.

Note: If your business operates across multiple countries, consider adding a clause about which country’s local consumer protections will apply to particular bookings and how cross-border disputes are handled.
